The Russian Airborne Troops or VDV will soon receive improved version of Tigr armored infantry transports, following modifications to meet the demands of the airborne. That reporte by TASS.

The Tigr-M (Tiger) armored vehicle  in version for airborne troops using Russian parachute platform airdrop systems P-7.

The Tigr-M (Tiger) is a high-mobility multipurpose military vehicle manufactured by MIC, a GAZ Group division, at the Arzamas machine-manufacturing plant.

In addition, the Airborne Troops may order experimental Typhoon  armored personnel carriers, manufactured by Russia’s KamAZ, after the company modifies the vehicle’s design to match the demands of the Russian paratroopers.
