Egypt and Iraq may buy a new Russian «Armata» tank. The only Russian manufacturer of tanks, “Uralvagonzavod”, invited the representatives of Egypt to the September exhibition of arms to demonstrate the capabilities of the T-14 “Armata” tank, general director of the company Oleg Sienko said Tuesday.

“We have invited the Egyptian side to the exhibition of weapons, which will take place this September in order to show what this machine is like,” – Sienko said in an interview.

According to him, “Uralvagonzavod” is thinking over the options to export the T-14 “Armata” tanks. The machine “has a good export potential,” but the priority today is supplies to the Russian Armed Forces.
